Quite a long time since my last cosplay post! :D

I'm so happy to get invited at this cosplay event to debut an Akame Ga Kill cosplay group.

I have long been planning to cosplay Leone since I saw the anime series. Akame Ga Kill is one of those animes that has caught my heart even though it lasted for just one season - not a manga reader on this series tho.

The process of making my Leone took me just around a week of planning and sewing. The stressful part for me was the wig since I literally received it a day before the convention, so there's no styling whatsover with it. I pictured myself with fangs too, but the glue just ain't sticking... T__T (few photos of my work in progress here)

On to the convention ~

I attended the convention with some new and old cosplay friends, three of whom I am acquainted with my GrandLine Philippines family - Dok, Eiji and Amee.

I thought we were just a small group at first but as time pass, we eventually found fellow Akame Ga Kill cosplayers who joined our group for the rest of the day.

One of the fun parts for me (always) was people recognizing who I was even when I'm not with the group. There were con-goers shouting me "Hi Leone!" / "it's Leone!!!" when I pass by them - and it's really a nice feeling for the cosplayer and crafter in me. :D

The photo booth thingy on this event was extra fun with the rest of our group! There wasn't even a line whenever we want to take a photo - so worth it!

There were lots of attendees this year but I was still able to see friends!

We kept losing our Akame whenever we attempt to have a group photo - then our Esdeath grabbed us for a shoot just before it gets dark outside. :)

We ran out of pegs during the shoot due to major fanservice we each had for our characters and got back in to had lots more of fun. xD

Overall, the day was suuuuuper fun! I was so happy I got invited. I always loved doing group cosplays, it's so much fun sharing fandom with friends and total strangers. :D

And to cap off our day, we all had dinner altogether and continued the fun until we part ways.
