Nurture Wellness Village Visit
Sunday, April 24, 2016We had lunch at this interesting place today.
It's every Sunday after Church that we get to try and explore our options for lunch. Today our big sister suggested that we go to Tagaytay and try at the place that serves unlimited Arroz Caldo.
Waze on and we were on our way. It's about an hour ride for us until we reached the place.
TADAAA!!! Welcome to Nurture Wellness Village!
How to get there? - - we travelled via a private car and used the Waze app but we did got a word that you can ride a tricycle to get there. Tracking back the road we took, you would need a (1)bus ride that's Tagaytay or Olivarez bound; (2)ask the driver to drop you off at Brgy. Buho and (3)ride a tricycle that will drop you off at Nurture Wellness Village (fare is Php55.00).
They have big brown gates and noticable signages, so you won't get passed it along the way. If you do have a private car to visit, make sure to get a parking ticket from the security guard.
They have a spacious parking lot and a huge entrance hall where an admin desk, restrooms and souvenir shop is placed. The people are accomodating and all smiles the whole time we're there.
Gabriela, the restaurant serving at the Nurture Wellness Village is ample spacious too! They serve the unlimited Arroz Caldo that our big sister was telling. But I guess they weren't serving it at the time. They also serve cakes!
We had the group meal that was really beautifully served! Just look how everything is placed at this bilao.
Before we ate lunch, I got the chance to roam around the place. I visited their vegetable garden first and yes, they grow their own food there.
The moment I stepped off the garden and saw pathways, I got excited as to I was not aware of what to expect to see at the end. The first house that we saw had its own spa area as it's basement and apparently, all of the houses at the particular area was setup that way. As I walked further through the village, there were more and more houses!
I would pretty much like to assume that the village has five parts, (1)Gabriela, which is the restaurant and the vegetable garden area, (2) Purok Cañao, that has houses with spa area for its basement area (aka Ifugao Suites), (3) Glamping Area (Glamour Camping), that has two sites: Kampo Sabila and Kampo Rizal, (4) the Playground, that has a badminton court (with accessible shuttlecocks and rackets) and the swimming pool and (5) the Ulogs area (nipa huts) where they have nipa huts with massage beds and air-conditioned houses.
Here's a small compilation of the clips I took at the village:
I enjoyed the little time we spent at the village and I would definitely love to spend an overnight stay there someday, maybe try glamping and enjoy their spa packages with friends.
Here's a quick look of some their packages:
