Day 01: Meet & Greet w/ Vampy

This is by far the bestest Cosplay Mania I have ever gone to! >U< Today I was able to meet Ms. Linda Le (aka Vampy) in person! yey! The moment I knew that Vampy was coming here, I purchased me a ticket on her meet and greet right away!


I was at the venue 2hours earlier and was on line one hour early! I was like the third person on the line. :P It was not boring to be on line for an hour though. I was able to see Kaname while he was being escorted out of his Meet & Greet room. I didn't know that it was him at first until the guy I was in line with me told it. Kaname smiled at me then I smiled (slightly bowed) back. The guy who was in line with me was like "you are the first girl who I saw was not screaming when they saw Kaname." hahaha.

So a couple of media went by too. The organizers came in to give us stubs before we enter the room. Since I was third in line, I was able to sit first in line, I was the happiest! (^ 3^)o..

Once everybody had entered the room, the organizers had a few minutes with the mic and briefed us on what's going to happen for the whole hour. And before I forgot, Vampy was with Pinky Lu Xun with the session I attended at.

When Vampy and Pinky went in, everybody stood up at started taking pictures.

Everyone started taking pictures and it was like the longest 1 minute eveeeer. The organizer asked us to settle and sit down and then they let Vampy and Pinky talk for a little introduction.

The organizer called in people who wanted to ask Vampy and Pinky a question and got them in line. Here's a clip of the question and answer moment with the two:

My favorite question that Vampy answered was about the Heroes of Cosplay show. Yes, everybody should be equal on this. The whole meet and greet ended up with ops with Vampy and Pinky. Here's the photo I had with them taken with one of the organizers:

I saw good cosplayers when I passed by the convention area again before going home.


And finally I met up with friends! ^0^/*

Day 02: Cosplay Day with GrandLine Philippines

So Day 2 of CosMania, cosplay day! It's usually the last day that we cosplay. I got to meet up with friends and enjoyed the day as much! I was supposed to cosplay two characters today, Kanu Unchou and Tony Tony Chopper, but ended up cosplaying Chopper the whole day.

I was meant to meet up with a friend for Kanu's costume, but got to roam around the convention wearing 50% of my Kanu Unchou instead. Got to meet few friends while wearing it and I think got few photos with some photographer friends too.

Once I got two rounds of circling around the convention I decided to just take off Kanu and be Chopper for the rest of the day. I'm wearing the conquistador version of Chopper and we sort of had a group cosplay this day too!

When I came back to our spot, I saw our Usopp, Luffy and Hancock!!! And I was super excited that they are sooooo cool!!! We just started screaming and taking photos.


Of course we have to look for the rest of the crew. Our Hancock was just a crowd stopper and we are like barely moving. As we slowly moved our way out of the convention hall, we were able to see more friends and more one piece cosplayers.


Just when people starts to fill up the rest of the spaces around the convention halls, we got a message that our photographer friends were in a middle of a shoot and we should come by. So we slowly got our way out the event area to the spot where our friends are taking the shoot.

The sun was about to go down when we reached the spot and we were chasing sunlight. It was the shortest shoot we ever made. lol. Here are some of the photos:


Getting back inside the convention hall was easier this time, a bit slow still but not as long like earlier that day. There was a huge crowd blocking our way and when we were about to get through we saw the rest of our crew! Hooray!!!! We were all screaming at the adorable-ness of each other. hahaha. No wonder they've build up a crowd, our Robin-schwaaan and Nami-swaaan were so hot!!!

It's like we get instantly charged up when we see friends. Cosplay Mania is one of the biggest event every year and this is sort of our mini reunion with cosplay friends. It was so much fun. I am looking forward for Cosplay Mania 2015. I hope its more fun than this year!
