12:00 - 1:30 | Island hopping P120/head

  • Mini Boracay - it's an elevated part of the ocean where you can have a clear photo of the ocean.
  • Coral Reefs - I can't swim but snorkling is the best! Glad we brought goggles.
  • Starfish Island - the name says it!

Pack-up

3:15 | Went to Kuya Johnny's to get a decent shower.

4:26 - 6:10 | Drop off at Tagaytay Intersection

7:31 | Arrived home (Imus)

Well that's a quick blog!
Few tips before going to Burot beach:
  • Contact Kuya John for "easy" access to the beach. By easy I meant if you are going there without anything at hand. You can borrow basically ANYTHING at their place. They can even buy something for you at the market if you are coming in late.
    • (63) 921 277 9015
    • (63) 905 226 8839
  • The Calatagan public market is the last market that you will pass by before going to Burot Beach so make sure to buy everything you need there. If you arrive late, there are shops there that stay open until 10PM but all the karinderia are open 24hrs.
  • There's a mini sari-sari store at the beach proper that serves breakfast, snacks and few items. So bring extra money if you want to eat halo-halo in the afternoon. :)

The beach proper:
  • There's a common area there where you can wash your dishes. The water supply get scarce at night time though.
  • There are comfort rooms at the beach proper too. Separate cubicle for boy and girl.
  • There's no electricity on the island so bring your own light if you are going to pee at night. :P
  • If you want to explore the shore line, get up as early as 5AM s you'll see the beach in low tide and you can walk as far as the shore is!
  • Be cautious with sea urchins.
  • Make sure to bring enough drinking water.
  • DO NOT attempt to bring starfishies home. They EXTREMELY stink, you'll regret it.

I think that's about it. Thank you for reading. If you are planning to visit the place make sure to "Leave NO Trace". Thanks for reading!
